FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2011 – Qualifier Bibione ready to start

The biggest event in the history of beach soccer is about to kick off. The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2011 – Qualifier Bibione will be kicking off tomorrow, Sunday 11th July with a record of 27 teams, one more than in the Qualifier 2009 hosted in Castellon, Spain.

The best 4 teams will join hosts Italy in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Rome 2011 in May next year. Although stronger and more usual teams are favorites to qualify and win the tournament, we can always have surprises. We already saw FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2005 winners France get knocked out last year and Switzerland qualified for the first time.

The event will be played in a Round Robin competition format during the Group Stage for the first three days. After the rest day (Day 4), best teams will get through to Round of 16 and winners make it quarterfinals. This is the key day: winners of Friday make it through directly to the World Cup.

All beach soccer fans will be able to watch the games online for free clicking www.beachsoccer.com. For more information about the event, results, schedules, etc, log on to beachsoccer.com.
