All-star game to close ITV Fever Pitch

The likes of Madjer, Gabriel, Francois, Sagan, and Fekete, among others, will be playing two exhibition games in Manchester

The ITV Fever Pitch Manchester 2014 will be hosting an all-star weekend for the ages to close out the event, also coinciding with the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 final. There will be two matches played, one on Saturday and another on Sunday. Each team will consist of five players from the England National Team and five specially chosen stars from all over the world. As the matches will be in Manchester, the two teams will be aptly named, Reds United and City Blues, for the colours of the two eleven-a-side giants in the city.

The crowds will treated to some of the most globally recognizable names in the sport, playing alongside the local Brits. The Reds United squad includes: Sydorenko from Ukraine, Gabriel of Brazil, Madjer hailing from Portugal, Sagan from Poland, and Ollie of Germany. Molloy, Bowes, Lawson, Clarke, and Corbett will be the homegrown English players for the Reds.

The City Blues squad will be graced with the talents of Del Mestre from Italy, Franceschini of Argentina, Francois from France, Fekete of Hungary, and Maci from Romania. As is the case with the Reds, the Blues´ all-stars are some of the best players from some of the best beach soccer nations in the world. The English National Team players that will be playing for the Blues are: True, Mitchell, Temple, Farquharson, and Day.

The Fever Pitch has been providing fans with beach soccer matches for the past month, having begun on the 13th of June, and the local favourites, England, have played in the majority of the matches. The final days will be some of the most exciting as the Three Lions will be facing off against each other with the help of some of their own rivals. After the final match on Sunday, the stadium goers will be able to watch the World Cup final on the same big screen used to broadcast the beach soccer matches.
