Amarelle to lead beach soccer camp in Virginia

This year’s NASSC will host the first annual Ramiro Amarelle FC Barcelona Beach Soccer Camp.

Youngsters in Virginia are to be offered a great opportunity to learn from the very best as FC Barcelona star Ramiro Amarille brings his beach soccer camp to the North American Sand Soccer Championships in June.

The Barcelona captain – who lifted the Mundalito de Clubes title in Rio de Janeiro last year – will be alongside two special club team-mates to teach beach soccer students tricks, skills and secrets for the sand.

Those attending will not only have one of beach soccer’s best forward players to learn from as Spain goalkeeper Dona and Tahiti stopper Jo Torohia – both named best goalkeeper at recent FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup editions – will also be in attendance.

Taking place at Virginia Beach Oceanfront at 26th Street, the sessions offer boys and girls between seven and 14 a unique opportunity to personally train alongside Barca pros and learn more about the exciting world of beach soccer.

The camps run between June 4th and June 9 2016, with each session consisting of two three-hour periods, before the tournament gets underway on June 9th.
