The Muscat Beach Soccer Cup, to be held between 20th and 22nd of February, will see top-flight competition back on Omani soil
Beach Soccer will bring the traditional and colourful Muscat Festival, in the capital of Oman, some significant extra powder. Beach Soccer Worldwide and the local promoter Al Swayni Sport Services & Event Organization have just confirmed the first ever Muscat Beach Soccer Cup, to take place between 20th and 22nd of February at the Seed Beach Park.
Despite the final list of participating teams and the match schedule will be confirmed soon, the competition format has already been confirmed, with four sides competing in a round-robin format.
Oman is no stranger to elite Beach Soccer, as Beach Soccer lovers will reckon. After the successful II Asian Becah Soccer Games (2010) and the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2011 – Asian Qualifier, Muscat will harbour once again top flight Beach Soccer action. Oman…there we go again!
