Brazil gets ready for the World Cup on beach sand

Neymar and co. take advantage of the sand to make the most of their training sessions at their camp in Granja Comary

Less than two weeks, and the the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 will commence. The host Nation, Brazil, looks forward for a wonderful performance in front of their crowd in the world’s most followed sports event, and take advantage of the facilities in Granja Comary, where the ‘Penta’ are undergoing their training camp.

National coach Luis Felipe Scolari and his technical staff want to make the team’s preparation schedule as perfect as possible, and to help their players stay fit, boost the physical training, and keep working their exquisite technical skill he knows there is no better surface than beach sand.

Brazilians cannot live away from the beach sand, an environment that, for centuries, has shaped their talent, their skill, and their way of understanding the “Beautiful game”. And, of course the Verdeamarela would never forget to round their work on the grass with a set of exercises on the sand.
