BSWW meet with Belarus FA and Belarus Olympic Committee

The common goal is to keep fostering the growth of the sport in Belarus, with the European Olympic Games Minsk 2019 in the horizon

Beach Soccer Worldwide has been holding relevant meetings in Belarus these days. BSWW Head of Competitions, Josep Ponset, has visited both the Belarus Football Association and the Belarus Olympic Committee to discuss with their presidents about the next steps for the sport in the country and in the upcoming European Olympic Games, to be held in Minsk in 2019. 

In the first round of meetings, Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Belarusian Football Association, together with the Ministry of Sport and the Belarusian Beach Soccer Federation met in Minsk to discuss the plan to help foster the sports growth in the country.

The president of the Belarusian Football Association, Sergei Roumas, Alexey Sychev, president of the ABFS (Belarus Beach Soccer Federation) and Alexander Baranov, General Secretary took part in the meeting, together with V. Deikalo, Director of Team Sports at the Belarusian Ministry of Sport, and the Belarusian Beach Soccer National Coach, Nicolás Alvarado.  

After that, Ponset was also invited to visit the construction of the permanent venue for the coming European Olympic Games 2019. 

In the second meeting, held in the Belarusian Olympic Committee with George Katulin, Chief Executive Officer, and Siarhei Shablyka, the agenda was fully oriented to the preparation of the Minsk 2019 European Olympic Games, where beach soccer will play a very relevant role.
