CBF declares a period of mourning of seven days after the Chapecoense tragedy and postpone all competitions
The Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) declared a period of mourning of seven days, as a tribute to the victims of the air accident happened two days ago to the flight taking the Associação Chapecoense to Medellin.
As a consequence, all football competitions during those days have been momentarily cancelled or postponed, at all levels.
The Campeonato Brasileiro de Clubes de Beach Soccer is one of the competitions affected by this measure, and consequently, the event will not take place as scheduled this December. The rescheduling of the event is being studied, but it will not take place in the period previously scheduled (1-3 December)
