The activities start on November 3rd and finish on the evening of the 7th again centering the attention of the sports world.

Joan Cusco, Beach Soccer Worldwide Executive vice-president, celebrates having Dubai as the perfect host for such important events: “We have always said that Dubai is our home. It offers beach soccer the best possibilities, an amazing setting and a never-ending range of possibilities, together with a proven success record in the last decade thanks to the excellent job and vision of the Dubai Sports Council, with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum ahead. Every single person we ask, everyone we invite, is absolutely delighted to come to Dubai. Everybody loves it here”.

In the fifth edition of the Intercontinental Cup, focus will be on the pitch and on the beautiful skyline shaping the picture behind stadium, beginning on Tuesday the 3rd. The tournament brings together eight teams and the best in the world at that. There is always the current World Cup champion, in this case, Portugal, and the leaders from the six continents as divided by the sport, North America (CONCACAF), South America (CONMEBOL), Africa (CAF), Asia (AFC), Europe, and Oceania (OFC). The host nation, the UAE plays in the AFC, and Europe has two representatives since the World Cup champion is from The Old Continent. The pool of top-class talent comes from Mexico, Argentina, Egypt, the UAE, Iran, Portugal, Russia, and Tahiti.

Together with that, on Friday the 6th, the FIFA Workshop is gathering of the most important figures of beach soccer to discuss and present the latest trends, news, and general topics facing the sport.
