The Real Madrid star presented his campus this weekend, and announced that beach soccer will play a key part
Most of the top class Brazilian football players have their roots in the beach, and Real Madrid left back Marcelo is no exception.
The gifted defender admitted this weekend that “I started my career with beach soccer”, as he presented the campus he will be organizing, together with Brazil Futsal International Caio, this summer.
The campus, to take place in Getafe (Madrid) between June 26th and July 21st, will allow hundreds of children to learn the basics of football, futsal but also beach soccer.
Precisely because the player’s career started on the sand, the Brazilian started wanted beach soccer to be a part of the campus. “I want the children to have the chance to learn how to play beach soccer as well, just as football and futsal”.
