New World Rankings Released

The Overall World Rankings and the 2014 Rankings have been updated and reflect big season

A year full of friendly matches and big tournaments has the global standings changing. The rankings and points are constantly changing and causing moves as each nation participates in exhibition matches and prestigious tournaments. The familiar faces remain at the top, with Russia, Brazil, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal remain at the top. But the hosts of the Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubau 2014, the UAE, moved up four spots to number six, thanks to their great performances lately and the amount of official friendly matches they have been taking part in. Notwithstanding, the biggest jump in the top-25 was Ukraine, going from 21 to 13.

As the calendar moves over to 2015 there are still many matches to take into account in this 2014, with the Juegos Suramericanos and the Copa Lagos giving room for new surprises and significant changes.
