The Oman National team has become the first leader of the Beach Soccer Worldwide Tour stage in Morocco, after beating the host side (7-6). The match was tight and the struggle between Salhi (Morocco) and Al Noobi (Oman), with a hat trick on their count, fell on the latter side, thanks to a last breath goal by the Omani.
On the other match of the day, Switzerland U21 needed a penalty shootout to beat UAE, maybe the best among Asian beach soccer teams. After the game finished 2-2, extra time provided no changes on the scoreboard, ant it was the penalty spot the one to pass the final sentence. Meier missed not his attempt and gave the Alpine side their first two points in this exhibition tournament.
