This new edition of this multi-sport parade, organized by Asian Beach Games, will have Beach Soccer again as its most attractive discipline
Beach Soccer will be again the key sport in a new edition of the Asian Beach Games, that this year travel to the paradise resort of Phuket, in Thailand.
This multi-sport competition will take place between 9th and 21st of November, involving an overall of 19 sports: Beach Soccer, Beach Handball, Beach Kabaddi, Beach Volleyball, Beach Sepaktakraw, Beach Woodball, Aquatics, Beach Waterpolo, Sailing, WindSurfing, Beach Basketball, Beach Petanque, Muaythai, Beach Wrestling, Jet Ski, Climbing, Water Ski, Triathlon, Air Sports.
The beach soccer competition will take place between 14th and 20th of November with an estimated participation of over 16 teams. A state-of-the-art stadium in Karon Beach will host the matches.
The Asian Beach Games, to experience their 4th edition this year after the previous celebrations in Bali (2008), Muscat (2010) and Haiyang (2012), are organized by the Olympic Council of Asia. 33 Countries have taken part so far.
