Stadium close to completion and Dubai is all set for the Cup

The Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubai 2015 is gearing up for fans and games as the state-of-the art facilities are ready

November 3rd-7th are the dates and Dubai, UAE, is the place for some of the best beach soccer to be seen all year. The beach soccer bicycles, goals, and saves will be at the Dubai International Marine Club for the third straight year and the arena is now complete and ready to host the worlds’ best. The stage for one of the sports’ biggest tournaments is waiting and it looks amazing. The city backdrop is a sight to behold as Dubai has one of the greatest skylines of any city and the stadium sits perfectly in front, giving fans an ideal view.

Dubai is not a beautiful city for nothing, they spare no expenses to create high-quality structures, evidenced by the tallest building in the world, and the stadium for the Intercontinental Cup is no different. Well in size maybe. But the high-end arena is filled with sand and ready for the max capacity of 3,500 spectators. Nothing was overlooked for the construction of the stadium as it is also on the waterfront and is accessible by foot, public transit, and car. The area will be filled with fans, media, locals, and tourists and the best possible facilities were needed for the five day event.

Paul Berger, CEO of Harlequin Group, highlights his great sensations for being again such an important part of the event: “We are very proud to be providing all overlay infrastructure, AV, lighting & management for the Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubai for the third year running. We are completing the final touch-ups and branding installations, and the Stadium is nearly ready to hold this exciting tournament”.

This marks the fifth time the event will be held, all in Dubai, and this year will feature, yet again, eight of the best teams, at least one from each confederation, and the current FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup champion. The list includes the hosts, the UAE, the World and European champions, Portugal, European giants, Russia, African powerhouse, Egypt, CONCACAF champions, Mexico, Asian leaders, Iran, South American force, Argentina, and Oceania title holders, Tahiti. The teams are the best and the facility had to be and is set to equal their level of play in quality. You do not have to miss the action and beautiful views because all the matches can be seen live on www.beachsoccer.com
