TFF host Beach Soccer Course
A Refereeing seminar was held in Izmir (Turkey) last weekend
A Beach Soccer Referee and Observer Seminar was held in Seferihisar, ?zmir, Turkey between 23-25 August 2013 under the patronage of the Turkish Football Federation Referee's Committee, with the participation of 24 referees, 4 referee observers and 2 referee mentor.
Differnet aspects were tackled in this seminar, mainly conducted by the FIFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Referee Coordinator Jesus Rubio, the TFF Referee's Committe Member Turgay Güdü, the Referee Education Mentor O?uz Sarvan and the TFF Referee's Department Manager Burçin Keskin. First of them was an education programme by FIFA, with a complete video analysis of different actions in last FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
Apart from that, issues such as the positioning on the pitch, match control during the game, the changes in the rules applying for the World Cup were also dealt with.
After the seminar, TFF Referee's Department Manager Burçin Keskin highlighted the development Beach Soccer is undergoing in Turkey, and praised these kind of courses for "which put a great stress on referee education".
