The Chapecoense mascot meets Brazilian Team

The little Indian Carlinhos had the chance to speak to the players and juggle with them in Santos

The Brazil National Team had a very special visit at their hotel this morning as Carlos Miguel Garcia, Carlinhos, the little Indian who is the official mascot of Associação Chapecoense de Futebol, came to meet the Brazilian players, and spent time playingwith them.

While weather conditions in Santos did not allow the Tetracampeão to train on the pitch, Gilberto’s side held indoor training in one of the hotel rooms.

And, afterwards, the little Indian came into the room and had a lovely time with the beach soccer stars, who even gave him an autographed ball.

Carlinhos loved meeting the players and enjoying a time with them. You just need to see his face right now! I am sure he will not forget this moment”, said Maria, the child’s mother.

In a very emotional moment, Brazil’s captain, Bruno Xavier, spoke on behalf of the whole team to Carlinhos and his family, and indeed to the whole Chapecoense family.

Bruno Xavier took the time to praise the strength of the whole family and highlighted how the tragedy will make them stronger.
