Euro Beach Soccer League Kiev 2013

A new thrilling edition of the Euro Beach Soccer League is ready to kick-off in Kiev. The Ukrainian capital becomes then the starting point of the backbone competition of the European season, which experiences this summer its XVIth edition. Four Division-A teams will square off in a state-of-the-art stadium at the Dolobetsky Island, by the Dnieper River. This same battleground hosted a wonderful Beach Soccer Worldwide exhibition event, featuring Ukraine, Netherlands, Italy and Portugal. This year, though, Kiev makes one step forward and joins the Euro Beach soccer League season with the opening stage. Together with the recently-promoted Ukrainian National Team, the defending champions, Switzerland, will begin their fight to retain the crown they snatched World Champions Russia in the last EBSL Superfinal held in The Hague (Netherlands). Besides, two fierce contenders such as Poland and France will be on hand to get the first points, too. Swiss, Ukrainians, French and Polish will hit the sand with one very idea in mind. With twelve teams in this new format of the competition, you really need to show the vest version of yourself if you want to keep any option to be in the Superfinal… If you do not, the menace of the promotion final, and the possible relegation to Division B, will haunt you all along the season…
