Welcome to the Beach Soccer Agora!
Beachsoccer.com inaugurates the Beach Soccer Tribune, an editorial space to share all points of view in our sport
Dear beach soccer family,
Welcome to the new opinion column around beach soccer.
We are today inaugurating the ?Beach Soccer Tribune?, a meeting point for all fans and professionals involved in Beach Soccer. This editorial agora is intended to serve as the official voice of Beach Soccer Worldwide on any relevant subject, but also the board where players, coaches, National Football Associations, referees, promoters and even supporters can have their feelings and beliefs projected to all the Beach Soccer community through the official site beachsoccer.com. We invite you all to do so.
In the last recent months we have seen new people, new teams and new territories joining the elite Beach Soccer stage: Goa, in India, Bangsaen in Thailand, the first ever FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier ever to take place in Bahamas, the core of the Caribbean, China,? These mean a whole new set of points of view, opinions, and ways of living and experiencing things which offer a powerful knowledge to us all. And we must take full advantage of this opportunity to enrich our background.
After the FIFA Beach Soccer Workshop held at the home of FIFA on early January proved a real success, it is the time to keep on putting things in common to jointly build a bright future for our beloved sport. The meeting at FIFA headquarters, involving more than 100 people from more than 40 different FAs, meant a wonderful opportunity to see the sport from many different perspectives, and to start working on different directions to expand its reach.
In that symposium in Zurich, several items were highlighted by different Beach Soccer professionals, such as the need of implementing a player registration system, the next steps to be done to empower the growth of women beach soccer, how to fight the illegal practices and competitions all over the world? And a unique powerful message came out from this meeting, proving again that we all are in the same boat.
Day after day, there are more voices, more thoughts to be listened in the Beach Soccer world. And this is the place for them to speak, to have their say on anything related to their everyday reality, regardless it is aims on a global or a national scope.
Through such and powerful and intense exchange, we will foster our global growth even further, and we will be ready to face new challenges, find imaginative solutions, explore new possibilities.
Please be invited to contribute in such a forum. For any feeling, thought or belief you would like to share, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing your voice!
Luis Felipe Tavares,
President Beach Soccer Worldwide
