Beach Soccer and the AIPS join forces
A conference was held today in Jesolo, announcing the creation of a Beach Soccer Commission within the Association
The AIPS (International Association of Sport Press), Beach Soccer Worldwide and The Lega Nazionale Dilettanti held jointly a public conference this morning, in the framework of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015 - Qualifier Europe Jesolo-Itlay. The symposium, under the title "The Sport and Its voces. New Media, the awakening of new realities" dealt with the way Beach Soccer has grown inside the media, and the new challenges to be tackled in this new stage, as well as the important role that Media, and the journalists, play in the growth and dimension of any sport.
Top representatives of the AIPS, such us the president of AIPS Europe, Yannis Daras, the General Secretary Charles Camenzuli, or The Executive Committee member Gianfranco Coppola dealt with different topics, such as the evolution of the sport and the need to fight against betting inside sports, among others. Joan Cusco, Beach Soccer Worldwide Executive vice-president, Ferdinando Arcopinto, from the Beach Soccer Department of the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, or the Assessore Al Turismo of the Jesolo City Council Daniela Donadello, took active part in the conference, too.
The members of the AIPS were highly amazed with the outcome of the beach soccer competitions, which they have been following, and assured that the sport has a bright future. In this same sense, Yannis Daras, President of AIPS Europe, announced the creation of a Beach Soccer Commission within the Association.
Other attendants were the President of the Veneto Region of the FIGC, Giuseppe Ruzza, the Head of the Local Organizing Committee of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015 - Qualifier Europe Jesolo-Italy, Cesare Toso, Gabino Renales, Beach Soccer Worldwide Deputy Vice-president, or Raul Sus, Beach Soccer delegate at the Spanish Football Association.
