Brazil and Paraguay secure semi-finals
South American Champions and Runners-up seal go-through in Copa América Fútbol Playa Peru 2018
Brazil and Paraguay earned their place amongst Copa América’s best 4 yesterday, following wins over Chile and Argentina.
The defending champions showed no mercy, and stormed past La Roja with a final score of 13-1, which clearly showcases the current state of shape of Gilberto’s side.
After their 7-5 victory over Argentina Paraguay is the second team to have won all their games so far, and also to have secured semi-finals, and will now face the World Champions to see who gets the highest place in group B.
In the other games of the day, hosts Peru suffered a new upset, against Uruguay (4-7) and find themselves at the bottom of the table in group A, whereas Ecuador begin their take-off with a loud 9-3 win over Venezuela.
Last group-stage day in Lima will finally decide which teams join Brazil and Paraguay in the semi-finals of the Copa America.
