?Clean the Beach? with Beach Soccer

The Beach Soccer Foundation sets up an environmental activity prior to the beginning of the BSWW Miami Cup 2011

Beach Soccer is much more than the most spectacular version of the Beautiful Game. Its spirit goes beyond the magic, the fight and the effort on the sand, since this sport cannot be understood without the respect to its privileged setting, without its taking care of the beaches. This environmental conscience is one of the main concerns of The Beach Soccer Foundation, which is organizing the “Clean the Beach 2011” action right before the beginning of the Beach Soccer Worldwide Miami Cup, taking place in South Beach (between the 20th and 22nd streets) from April 29th to May 1st.

Next Thursday, April 28th, everyone is invited to join forces and fight for the beach’s health! Beginning at 6 pm, the players of the 4 participating teams, the cheerleaders, the coaches, the referees and everyone who wants to get onboard will be taking part of this valuable initiative. The “Clean the Beach 2011” program wants to take care of the surroundings of the Stadium facilities, and its main objective is, besides the very cleaning action, aiming at the environmental conscience of the citizens and making everybody understand how important is to help keeping our sands neat.

So everybody is welcomed to be at the Stadium’s Main entrance (South Beach, between 20th and 22nd streets) at 5:45 pm, to do their bit for the sake of our beaches together with the sport’s biggest stars, and the rest of the people involved in the spectacle of this Beach Soccer Worldwide Miami Cup 2011. Needless to say, all help is more than appreciated.
