Euro Beach Soccer Season 2011 outlined

The European competitions will be held in seven different countries, ending with the Euro Beach Soccer Cup in Valencia

A new and exciting season kicks off in Bern next Friday, May 27th, with the staring signal of the Euro Beach Soccer League 2011, whose different legs have already been confirmed. Switzerland is just the first stop for this summer-long tournament, which stages the best teams in the Old continent in four different events which lead to the Superfinal. Again with the official sponsorship by Crocs Europe, this new season promises tons of thrilling action, amazing spectacle, and the unique Beach Soccer atmosphere in seven different countries in the Old Continent.

Berlin (July 8th-10th) will see the second stage in this year’s Euro Beach Soccer League, taking the prestigious competition to the German capital for the first time. A wonderful Beach Soccer Stadium by the O2 Arena will pass sentence of who takes a better position to fight for the continental crown in the Superfinal in Moscow (August 4th-7th). But let’s not jump the gun… Prior to the Continental decision-making battle on Russian soil, the top European powerhouses will have the chance of claiming their place in it in two other Euro Beach Soccer League stages. The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2011 venue, the Italian city of Ravenna, will get an excellent appetizer to the Global Beach Soccer Party with the third stage of the EBSL 2011, happening in July, from the 22nd to the 24th.

Just the week after, and the weekend before the Superfinal, the Euro Beach Soccer League will stage its last leg. For the second time, The Hague (July 29th-31st) will give the last tickets to fight for the European throne to teams in Division A, and for the promotion to the top-flight league for the squads in Division B.

But the continental Beach Soccer will not stop after the Russian capital elevates the new European League champion of the year. One of the most successful appointments of every summer, the BSWW Mundialito in Portimão, will momentarily close in August 12th-14th the continental season just a couple of weeks before the beginning of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – Ravenna/Italy 2011 (September 1st to 11th).

After that, the time will come for another of the traditional biggest tournaments in the Old Continent, the Euro Beach Soccer Cup. The competition facing the eight top ranked teams in the previous season is scheduled for the last weekend in September (23rd-25th). The Spanish city of Valencia will be the venue of this brilliant closing to five months of the highest-level Beach Soccer in Europe.
