Catania will host for the third year this European clubs showdown, between 23rd and 29th May, this time including women’s competition
The date for the fourth edition of the Euro Winners Cup has been confirmed, together with the venue, which will be once again the Sicilian resort of Catania (Italy).
The Euro Winners Cup have deservedly earned a very special place in the beach soccer calendar, as it has quickly become one very important competition in the Old Continent.
Close to 30 teams have been taking part in this very anticipated Pan-European competition, which experienced its first edition in San Benedetto del Tronto, to find the following year Catania as a wonderful venue.
Again this year, the best clubs of each of the European National Football Associations will come down to the Sicilian resort to vie for the throne.
Having won the two last editions, BSC Krystall hold the European Clubs crown, with hosts Catania as the defending runner ups.
This year, as already announced by Beach Soccer Worldwide, the competition will also feature a Women’s division for the first time, what already showcases the growth of the competition itself.
