The BSWW Tour – Copa Lagos 2014 party in Nigeria will be more than just a premium beach soccer event from the 12th-14th of December
Copa Lagos, it’s a lifestyle… The lifestyle includes activities off the pitch such as musicians, a fashion show and everything in between. The list of stars performing at this years’ edition, with links to one of their most popular songs, is wildly impressive and goes as follows: Yemi Alade, Runtown, Shaydee, Slyde, Oritse Femi, Skales, Lil Kesh, Patoranking, and Orezi.
Every year Nigeria and Copa Lagos host one of the best tournaments and as always, they provide an amazing combination of top-class beach soccer and amusing talent to entertain the crowds after the matches. Starting off the first day of acts is Slyde, who will be playing fresh of his hit, Banana Remix. Also showcasing their talent is Shaydee who was honoured with a single on the Nigerian artists compilation album, Empire Mates State of Mind. Runtown, who is best known for the singles Gallardo and Party Like Its 1980, will be performing as well. Yemi Alade is a local grown talent who got noticed after she won the Lagos Peak Talent Show and she will round out the first day’s acts.
The three day fiesta continues on the 13th with Oritse Femi headlining things, and Oritse Femi is coming off a great year as he won the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards for Most Popular Song of the Year, and the Indigenous Artist of the Year award from the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Opening for Oritse Femi on day 2 will be Skales and Lil Kesh, who combined have well over 200 recorded songs.
Not to be outdone, the last day will be packed with talented musicians also, with the likes of Orezi and Patoranking. Orezi first gained global prominence in 2013 with his single, Rhianna, in 2103. Opening for Orezi on the final day will be Patoranking, who worked for many years doing collaborations until signing to a record deal in 2010.
The beach soccer party will end on the 14th as well but not before fans will be thrilled with the bicycles, goals, and glory that is the most popular sport on sand. Beachsoccer.com will have all the updates and information for you.
