At the same time, there was also a beach soccer conference taking place, attended by former players and coaches, including the decorated Russian coach, Mikhail Likhachev.

The conference was held in Gliwice, Poland, while practical demonstrations were given at the Gliwice Sports Factory.

The experienced coaches offered advice for the young players breaking through onto the international beach soccer stage and discussed in-depth tactics, as well as the development of the sport.

As for the beach soccer action, the first battle was fought on Saturday the 16th, and ended in a 5-3 victory to the hosts, with Pawel Friszkemut and Karim Madani each netting braces.
