The former Presidente da Câmara Municipal da Figueira da Foz, who brought beach soccer back to the city, left us yesterday
Beach Soccer World Wide would like to offer its condolences to the family of our friend João Ataíde, PS Member of the Assambleia da República (Portuguese Parliament) and former Presidente da Câmara Municipal da Figueira da Foz, who passed away yesterday at his hometown, Coimbra.
Ataíde was the mayor that brought the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal back to Figueira da Foz, and left the City Municipality just one month later, to become the Secretary of Etate for Environment.
Our thoughts are with his relatives and beloved ones at this tough time.
