The Alpine consistently commanded the game against the Three Lions (8-3), with three goals by Stankovic and Ott

The Swiss League grand finale had a very special prolegomenon, with a high-class International friendly, facing 

By the Lake Thun, in the beautiful resort of Spiez, the hosts bent the Three Lions in a match with an especially outstanding performance by stars Dejan Stankovic and Noel Ott, with three goals each. 

A 7-0 run had the Swiss taking off rather uncontestably, and England could never manage to challenge that dominion.
