Women’s Brazilian Championship kicks off in Anchieta

Eight teams take part in the competition, grouping both the South, Southeast and West stages

Anchieta (Espirito Santo) hosts the 2018 edition of the Campeoanto Brasileiro de Beach Soccer. Eight teams take part in the competition, which kicked-off yesterday, comprising both the South, South East and Central West stages. 

The teams are divided as follows:

 

Group A

Macaense (RJ)

São Pedro (ES)

Gama (DF)

Corinthians (SP)

 

Group B

Geração

Anchieta (ES)

Ceilandia (DF) 

União Ribeirão (PR) 

 

In the first matchday of the competition, Gama and União Ribeirão got on top of the table in Groups A and B, following two identical 7-3 wins over Corinthians and Ceilandia.

Hosts Anchieta, with a tight 2-1 win over Geração, and São Pedro, with a narrow 5-4 over Macaense, secured the points, too.
