A press conference was held today in Alanya, venue of the first edition of the global clubs competition
The World Winners Cup 2019 was officially presented today in the host city: Alanya (Turkey). The presentation was conducted by city mayor, Adem Murat Yücel, the BSWW Deputy Vice-president, Gabino Renales and the Heads of the Local Organizing Comitee, Yücil Ergun and Adil Muftuoglu.
The event will take place between the 23rd and 29th of September, and will feature both men and women’s clubs from all over the world.
Following the successful format of the Euro Winners Cup, the World Winners Cup will be open to all the clubs that want to take part in the event. Just as it happens with the Euro Winners Cup, the teams need to be sanctioned and approved by their respective National Football Association.
