The number of nominees for Best Coach has gone from ten to three as the Beach Soccer Stars Gala approaches
The three coaches still in the running to win the Best Coach of the Year at the Beach Soccer Stars Gala in Dubai have been named.
They are: Angelo Schirinzi (Switzerland), Gilberto da Costa (Brazil) and Joaquin Alonso (Spain).
The winner will be announced at the Beach Soccer Stars Gala on the 10th of November in Dubai’s V Hotel Dubai Curio Collection by Hilton (previously known as the W Dubai).
The evening of glamour will draw the curtains on the Huawei Intercontinental Cup in Dubai, in which two of the nominees (Gilberto and Alonso) will be competing.
In fact, the two coaches will meet in the opening match of the tournament, as Gilberto’s Brazilians take on Joaquin Alonso’s Spain – make sure you don’t miss that one! It will be live on the Beach Soccer Worldwide website, along with all of the other games in the competition.
The eight participating teams include: hosts UAE, Egypt, Iran, Russia, Spain, Tahiti, USA as well as world champions and current Intercontinental Cup holders, Brazil.
