The win in Copa America helps Gilberto’s side widen the gap with Portugal atop of the Overall Beach Soccer Rankings
The new Overall Rankings are out, with some significant moves in the list.
Brazil have been named Movers of the Month once again, following their incontestable win in the Copa America. The Verdeamarela, already on top of the Rankings, widens the gap with their immediate pursuers, Portugal, Iran and Russia. Italy close a top 5 which didn’t change.
No changes were registered in the top 10, either, as most of the significant jumps and drops came deeper in the list.
Copa America contenders have lead the most important leaps in the Rankings, with Ecuador winning 6 spots and Uruguay jumping from 40th to 30th position.
In turn, Asian powerhouses Lebanon, dropping from 21st to 27th, or Bahrain, which falls from the 43rd to the 48th position become two of the most significant downwards moves.
