Les Bleus jump an impressive three places after victories in friendlies
Following some impressive displays of beach soccer prowess, including two victories in two days over England, France have leapt up the table, coming into 25th, just behind Argentina. The French also added insult to injury by leapfrogging the bruised Brits on their way up.
There was movement at the top of the table as Iran dropped points, leaving a void for the Russians to jump up to third place.
Other teams in the top 20 who found themselves on an upward trajectory were Spain, Mexico, the Ukraine, Egypt, Oman and Belarus, who also jumped three places following the teams around them dropping points.
Colombia swap 41st for 42nd place, as Madagascar gain points, and other teams who drop by a single position include: the Bahamas, Venezuela, the USA, Lebanon, Hungary, Panama, Nigeria and the UEA.
