Second meeting with the European Leagues held in Sardegna

BSWW met with Spanish, Russian, Italian and Portuguese FAs representatives in order to discuss the next steps of the sport 

The second working meeting between Beach Soccer Worldwide and the four top European Leagues was held yesterday in Sardegna, in the framework of the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal and Promotiona Final Alghero. 

Representatives from the Russian League, the Italian League, the Portuguese League and the Spanish League joined with BSWW Management to discuss some of the new ideas and steps the sport is to take in the coming seasons.  

Some of the issues under debate were the new system of the ranking, both for National teams and clubs, the foreign players quota for international clubs competitions such as the Euro Winners Cup, or the coming 2019 and 2020 international beach soccer calendar.    

During the meeting, and after evaluating the weather conditions and the demands of the PMA’s, always thinking on the best performance of the matches BSWW also decided to allow the PMA´s to play with 6 players on the bench. That means that 11 players can play each match from the beginning until the end of the competition.
